SHaRON  walters

Sharon Walters is a London-based artist and curator whose multidisciplinary practice spans collage, paper cut, film and public programming. Her ongoing series Seeing Ourselves is both a celebration and an act of resistance, foregrounding the richness, complexity, and multiplicity of Black women’s lives. Through intricate cut-outs and layered representations, Walters reclaims space, challenges imposed beauty standards, and affirms narratives too often overlooked, creating artworks that honour Black women’s presence, power, and self-definition.
